Leh
- Early morning arrival in Leh, taken Indigo flight from Delhi at 8 o’clock in the morning
- India’s highest-commercial airport Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport, is adjacent to Indian Air force station in Leh
- Took only 15 minutes to reach to our stay hotel Omasila
- A typical Ladakhi home, made of special mud (including lime), grass and wood
- The Ladakhi word Khangpa refers both to a place of residence and to a social unit
- You will see prayer wheels everywhere in entire Ladakh region
- The Buddhism religion has a significant value for prayer wheel. Mantra Om Mani Padme Hum is written on it
- A Prayer wheel or Mani wheel is a cylindrical wheel on a spindle made from metal, wood, stone and leather
Hall of Fame
- Next day visited Indian Army maintained Hall of Fame, singing the glory of Indian armed forces history in region
Khardung La
- Next in trip was the highest moterable point named, Khardungla
Nubra valley
- Arrived at Nubra valley and next stop is Diskit monestry
Diskit monestry
- Maitray Buddha facing Pakistan at Diskit monestry
- We stayed at Nubra valley in wooden huts
- Next morning started again towards Pangong lake
Pangong Tso
- Arrived at beautiful salt water lake
Chang La
- Headed back to Leh, and arrived at 2nd highest moterable point, Chang La. Here Indian Defense Research Lab researches for high altitude equipments
Leh local
- Next stay headed out for Leh city tour. Visited the Leh palace and local market
